Shadow & Light

I think this is such an amazing picture for the way it stands out , the fact how the one with the light shows small and the shadow it shows really big and makes it pop many ways . The reflected light comes to our eyes and we are able to see the object. Shadow is a patch of darkness which is created by the blocking of the light rays by an solid opaque object. The shadow often appears as black and white because the visible light cannot make its way past the obstruction , if the image has no light it will be shown as pure black as there is no light to reflect . More blocked lights makes shadow longer , less light is blocked when the light is high. The light that is falling on that area is being shield. If an opaque object gets in the way, it stops some of the light rays travelling through it, and an area of darkness appears behind the object. The dark area is called a shadow. To see the shadow there must be a source of light and an object that blocks that light. Sources of light may be natural (sunlight or moonlight) or artificial (incandescent, fluorescent or halogen lighting).
